He Ariki reo Māori, he Ariki mau moko, he Ariki haka, he toihau. Nā Te Arikinui te pae tawhiti i whakatata, e wheriko ake ai pea tātou ki te Hawaiki hou i moemoeātia e ngā mātua tīpuna. Ko ia te manawa ora o te kotahitanga i wawatatia ai e tōna Pāpā, ā, ka mau tonu tēnei haere nei te wā.

An auspicious gathering of the highest order, to mark the coming of age of Te Arikinui Kuini Nga wai hono i te po as anointed by the motu. A position that was held by her late father Kiingi Tuheitia, and by her late grandmother, Te Arikinui Te Atairangikaahu.
A native speaker of te reo māori, a stalwart of māori moko, a master of māori performance, a monarch of the highest order. She brings reality to our hopes and dreams, the epitome of our collective aspirations for the future as prophesied by our ancestors. She is the life pulse of Kotahitanga that her father promoted, that will endure the test of time.
This pānui covers the journey of Te Kaupapa o Te Kōhanga Reo into the Tainui region, to celebrate the first Coronation of our Māori Queen Te Arikinui Nga wai hono i te po.
