I whakatūhia e Te Kōhanga Reo te kaupapa “He Manu Pīrere nō Te Kōhanga Reo" hei whakakao mai i ngā mokopuna me ngā whānau kua puta ngā ihu i Te Kōhanga Reo. 

Ko te Pīrere, e kōrero ana mō te pīpī manu kua tata te rere, kua rere kē rānei mai i tōna kōhanga, arā, Te Kōhanga Reo. 

Ko te wāhanga tuarua o te kōrero ‘nō Te Kōhanga Reo’ he whakawhenua anō i te wāhi i rere atu ai ngā manu pīrere, ā, kia hoki tonu mai rātou ki Te Kōhanga Reo, ki te Kaupapa i poipoi i a rātou.

Ngā Karahipi a Te Kōhanga Reo 

Ka puta mai ngā pūtea karahipi mai i  te tahua a Te Kōhanga Reo, ngā kaihoko taonga a Te Kōhanga Reo me ngā Karahipi a Taihonoa, he kaupapa nā Te Herenga Waka:

  • e 25 ngā karahipi e wātea ana ki ngā Manu Pīrere,
  • e 20 ngā karapihi ki te hunga e whai ana i te paetahi, ā, $1000 mano tōna uara,
  • e whā ngā karahipi taumata paerua, ā, e $2000 mano tōna uara,
  • kotahi te karahipi a Tā Himi Henare mō te hunga e whai ana i te tākutanga, ā, $10,000 mano tōna uara. 

Ko te karahipi a Tā Himi Henare he tautoko i ngā mokopuna o ngā Kōhanga Reo kia tipu ai rātou hei kaiārahi mō ō rātou hapori, whānau, hapū, iwi. I kīia ai “He Manu Pīrere nō Te Kōhanga Reo.” 

He Manu Pīrere Alumni

He Manu Pīrere was launched in November 2017 in Hamilton during the ‘Nōku te reo, Nōku te ao’ Expo. It is part of the innovative framework acknowledging the many graduates of Kaupapa through the new Alumni foundation and the revised scholarships distribution programme.

 

Benefits to Alumni Members

Kōhanga graduates that subscribe to He Manu Pīrere will be entitled to exclusive member only benefits. These include:

1. Scholarships – Annual scholarships will be available to He Manu Pīrere members who, in the first instance, meet the list of standard criteria;

2. Projects of Interest – He Manu Pīrere will provide more opportunities for Te Kōhanga Reo to promote its activity, enabling members to engage in and contribute to projects of interest;

3. Whānau Card – We invite all registered members of He Manu Pīrere to complete an application to the Te Kōhanga Reo whānau card, which provides discounts on selected items, from a wide range of suppliers.
