Waka Insurance Tips and Reminders

With winter settling in, now is a great time to check that your kōhanga waka is safe, covered and ready for the colder months. Here are a few key reminders for all kaimahi and kōhanga with Trust insured vehicles.
Windscreen Damage? No Claim Form Needed
Got a chipped or broken windscreen? Just call Novus on 0800 20 35 35 or your local windscreen repairer to book your repair.
When you call, remember to:
Say your insurer is Monument Insurance
Quote customer number C11369 and branch code “O”
Provide your Kōhanga Reo ID and vehicle details
Roadside Assistance: Year Round Cover
If your waka breaks down, help is available 24/7: Call 0800 25 22 23 and quote your Drive On ID (locate your Drive On ID in the sticker located on your windscreen)

Winter Waka Care Tips
Check tyre pressure and tread regularly
Replace wiper blades if they’re smearing
Top up washer fluid and check oil and coolant levels
Keep lights clean and functioning
Clean mats and dashboard vents to reduce moisture buildup
Inspect for dents, scratches or rust before they worsen
