The Trust are receiving requests for audit information from Kōhanga Reo. This is our first audit under the new system for Kōhanga Reo that have opted into Pay Parity. We are unable to complete our reconciliation process with the Ministry of Education until mid-March. Due to this, an adjustment to the audit process and the release of funds for 2024 is required. 

1.     Kōhanga Reo that ARE currently participating in Pay Parity (have opted in)

• Your March 2024 Kaupapa Funding will be released overnight on 7^th March 2024 without an audit report being provided.

• Your due date for your 2023 Audit Report is now 30 June 2024.

• Your July 2024 Kaupapa Funding will not be released without providing the 2023 Audit Report, however, the Equity Funding will be released.

2.     Kōhanga Reo that ARE NOT currently participating in Pay Parity (have not opted in)

• The due date for your 2023 audit report remains 28th February 2024 and the release of funds will be the same as in previous years.
