Please note that the current waka roadside assistance service, Drive On, will cease from 30 June 2026.

From 1 July 2026, all Te Kōhanga Reo waka insured through the Trust’s insurance programme will be covered by NZI Roadside Rescue.

This change is part of our ongoing mahi to ensure Kōhanga Reo continue to receive reliable and efficient roadside assistance. There is no additional cost to your waka insurance premium.

NZI Roadside Rescue includes:

• 24/7 assistance

• Unlimited callouts

• Cover for the insured waka, regardless of who is driving

• Support for common breakdown situations, including flat batteries, lockout assistance, lost keys, flat or damaged tyres, mechanical breakdowns, and out of fuel support, where limits apply

In the event of a breakdown, please make sure you are safe first. When you call NZI Roadside Rescue, you will need to provide your:

• TKRid and name

• Phone number

• Vehicle registration number

• Location
