We know how busy things can get at kōhanga, and we’re here to help you stay ahead of the important submission dates for kaupapa funding.

This pānui is your gentle reminder that the next submission cut-off date is 5th June 2025. This is the deadline for submissions relating to the July 2025 Kaupapa funding period.

What You Need to Do:

• Submit all current and any late or amended reports from prior funding periods by 5th June.

• Double-check that all information is accurate

• Get in touch early if you’re not sure what’s needed

Reminder Schedule:

• 1st Reminder: Sent 30 April 2025

• 2nd Reminder: Mid-May 2025(that’s now)

• Final Reminder: Coming 30 May 2025

If your kōhanga hasn’t submitted yet, now is the time to check in and get it sorted.

Why This Matters

Missing the deadline can cause funding delays, which affects not just the kōhanga reo, but our tamariki and whānau too. To avoid this:

• Plan ahead

• Stick to the dates

• Reach out to your purapura or Tari-a-Rohe for awhi if you need help completing your attendance records

NB: The Trust will no longer be processing any late and amended data after 5^th June 2025.
