Reflecting on our recent Hui-ā Rohe
Kia ora e te whānau,
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the whānau who attended the recent Hui-ā-Rohe with our trustees and myself over the past month. It was an exciting time to meet you all and I’m glad we had the opportunity to do that.
From last year's hui around the motu there was feedback from whānau which I address in the accompanying video. The key focus areas were:
Trust organisational structure – who’s who in the zoo
Communications – improving how we share information with whānau and kaimahi
How the Kaupapa informs the decisions of the Trust
Property developments
Resilience planning for natural disasters
To learn more, watch the video below where I explore these topics further.
We welcome feedback from whānau and encourage you to share your thoughts with us. You can submit your feedback here. Additionally, you can view the full presentation here.
Ngā mihi nui,
