Environmental Scan Report now available for whānau

Kei ngā uri o ngā waka katoa o te motu, ngā pakihiwi kaha o te kaupapa o roto mai i ngā roherohenga, tēnā koutou katoa.
Kia ora e te whānau,
We’re pleased to let you know that the Environmental Scan Report for Te Kōhanga Reo, carried out by Dr Kathie Irwin and Associates, is now available to read and reflect on.
The report brings together the kōrero and insights that you, our whānau, generously shared during the process. It highlights what’s strong in our movement and where we need to focus next.
We are grateful to all who took part, whether by attending hui or sending in their kōrero. Your input helped shape this report, and we also acknowledge your patience as we worked through the final stages to get it ready.
Today also marks the start of the Board’s Haerenga, now beginning in Waitaha (Christchurch). Over the coming weeks, the Board will travel across the motu to meet with whānau and continue the kōrero in person.
To support these hui, we’ve pulled together a set of key documents for you to access:
The Environmental Scan Report
2024 Kōhanga Reo Highlights
Board Haerenga Presentation
Strategic Plan and Outcomes
Trust Deed
You can view and download the full set of resources by clicking here.
These have been prepared to support open kōrero and help everyone stay connected to the kaupapa.
Ngā mihi nui,
Te Kōhanga Reo National Trust Board
