A story of strength and wairua

Behind every tohu is a journey.
Earlier this year, Leatiana Tata-Adams (née Shelford) stood proudly at the Korowai Mokopuna graduation in Tāmaki Makaurau, holding her Master’s with distinction. A busy māmā and dedicated kaiako, Leatiana’s story reminds us what’s possible when you follow your passion and back yourself.
✨ “The mahi was challenging, but I knew it would help me do better for my mokopuna, my kōhanga and my whānau.” – Leatiana
We’re looking for 10 more kaiako with that same spark. If you’re ready to take the next step in your learning journey and help lead the way for tamariki with learning needs in Kōhanga Reo, then this kaupapa is for you.
