It is great to be back in Kōhanga Reo and to be in the role as your Chief Executive. With eight weeks completed there is much to do and we are making good progress. My aim is to ensure that our kaupapa is advanced for our tamariki, mokopuna and that you as whānau who carry this mantle daily are well supported to do so.
Participation of our mokopuna, and us as whānau is critical in continuing and maintaining the strength of our movement. I look forward to visiting with you all over the next month with the first hui starting in Aotea. We are progressing a positive pathway forward and this requires the contribution and commitment of us all; and I am hugely confident in our collective capability – “kei a tātou te aratika”
Kua tawhiti kē to haerenga mai, kia kore e haere tonu. He tino nui rawa ou mahi, kia kore e mahi nui tonu. We have come too far, not to go further. We have done too much, not to do more.
