About the role

Rangitihi Kōhanga Reo is currently accepting applications for a new member to join our team as a Kaihautu Waka. This position requires a commitment of 15-20 hours per week, approximately 3-4 hours per day.

Key Responsibilities

Transportation of mokopuna, including pick-ups and drop-offs

Qualifications

• A clean driver’s license is highly preferred
• Competency in Te Reo or a willingness to work towards this goal
• A defensive driver certification is desirable, or a willingness to obtain one within the first 3 months of employment
• A solid understanding of health and safety aspects surrounding car safety and seating of mokopuna, or a willingness to upskill in this area
• First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one within the first 3 months of employment.
• Must be willing to be Police Vetted
