We are accepting applications for the position of Kaimahi here within our Kōhanga Reo

Te Kōhanga Reo: Te Kōhanga Reo o Tahuri Mai

Essential criteria

• Have one of these certificates, Te Ara Tuatahi, Te Ara Tuarua, Whakapakari.
• Willing to undertake a Police Vetting Check
• Confident speaker or have a passion to learn Te Reo Māori me ōna Tikanga
• Has a passion to work with tamariki
• Previous work experience with tamariki
• Understand Tuakana/teina concept and role reversal to encourage positive behaviours
• Understands and willing to learn Te Ao Maori and the natural environment as learning opportunities for mokopuna
• Has some computer skills
• Is willing to undertake a Police Vetting Check

Work days and hours

· Monday to Friday: 40 hours per week
