About the role
The successful applicant must:
- Be competent in te reo māori me ōna tīkanga, or have a strong desire to learn.
- Be passionate about working with tamāriki.
- Be honest reliable and trustworthy.
- Be energetic and motivated to assist in the daily operations of our Kōhanga reo.
- Be able to work in a team environment where we draw together individual strengthsto enhance the overall quality learning experiences for our mokopuna.
- Be able to pass mandatory pre-employment Police vetting.
Essential criteria
Preference may be given to those with the below qualities
- Hold either Takaimatua, Te Ara Tuatahi, Te Ara Tuarua, or Te Tino Rangatiratanga TeTohu Whakapakari.
- Have current police vetting clearance.
- Hold a current first aid certificate.
- Have experience in Kōhanga Reo.
- Have any other relevant experience that would bring additional strength to our team.
