Position: Kaupapa Kaimahi (Tainui) - Operations
Location: Hamilton
Employment type: Fixed Term - 30 Hours
JOB DETAILS:
Kaupapa Kaimahi provide direct face to face operational support and advice to Kōhanga Reo whānau. This position reports to the Kaitohu ā Rohe (District Manager) for the day-today quality service delivery of the kaupapa.
Kaupapa Kaimahi have superior knowledge of the Kaupapa of Kōhanga Reo, along with excellent knowledge of ECE Regulations and ERQ Processes. Ideally, you will have a sound knowledge of Kōhanga funding and financial processes with the ability to assist whānau in these areas.
WORK DAYS & HOURS:
- Monday – Friday
- 8am – 5pm
- Start and end times are negotiable
The ideal candidate will have in depth:
- Knowledge and understanding of the vision and kaupapa of Kōhanga Reo
- Knowledge and understanding of Te Korowai
- Understanding of te reo Māori me ona tikanga
- Understanding of ECE Funding Handbook
- ERO processes, Xero and Smartly (Payroll)
- Experience establishing and maintaining good working relationships at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
